The 6th Annual Medical Student Ethics Conference (AMSEC) is a conference devoted to ethical issues that arise during medical education. The keynote this year is Prof. Ruha Benjamin from Princeton University, who will be presenting on “Race-ism Correction & the New Jim Code: Reimagining the Default Settings of Technology & Society.” The program also features oral presentations and flash presentations by medical students from around the US. During the conference, we will address issues related to solidarity in medicine, barriers to care, the causes of moral distress, and how to rethink the ethics curriculum in medical schools.

Registration for AMSEC is free and open to anyone interested in attending.
