We are pleased to announce that application is now open for the Bioethics Consultation Skills Intensive, offered by the Montefiore Einstein Center for Bioethics! This five-day, online intensive is designed for healthcare professionals and trainees who want to develop practical skills in clinical ethics consultation. Through a combination of didactics, small-group role plays, case-based learning, and personalized feedback, participants will strengthen their communication and consultation skills while learning best practices aligned with the ASBH Core Competencies for Health Care Ethics Consultation.

The course is intended for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, social workers, chaplains, hospital administrators, ethics committee members, lawyers, bioethicists, and trainees interested in developing or strengthening their clinical ethics consultation skills.
The course is directed by Adira J. Hulkower, JD, MS, HEC-C, Associate Director, Montefiore Einstein Center for Bioethics and Director of the Bioethics Consultation Service, and Lauren Sydney Flicker, JD, MBE, HEC-C, Faculty, Montefiore Einstein Center for Bioethics.

The course may be taken independently or for academic credit toward the MS in Bioethics.
