Adam Cohen grumbles (correctly) about the hypocrisy of a blogosphere dedicated to exposing ethical shenanigans in the major media that is itself subject to little or no scrutiny. In his editorial he discussed issues with the key blogs, those read by roughly a hundred times more readers than the one you are reading. Reading his editorial though inspired me to inquire as to how many blogs are explicitly dedicated to ethics. Which of course turned out to be an impossibly non-specific Google search as ‘blog +ethics’ (anybody have any idea how to turn up an answer??), but it did yield 2.5 million results. ‘ethics blog’ yields 606, and ‘ethics blog’ +medicine yields 60. No idea what that means but as best I can tell not much. [thanks Wayne Shelton].
