Join us as we discuss the ethical, economic, and policy implications of employing various concepts of value in evaluating these technologies!

Meghan Halley, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Center for Biomedical Ethics at Stanford University. A medical anthropologist by training, her research focuses on ethical and policy issues arising with the introduction of new genomic technologies for diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases. In this presentation, she will present empirical data examining how the values of diverse stakeholders shape the perceived value of new genomic technologies and explore the ethical, economic and policy implications of employing various concepts of value in evaluating these technologies. This event will be hosted both in-person and online via Zoom. Coffee and Donuts will be provided for in-person attendees!
