Mayo Clinic seeks applicants for its 2025 summer undergraduate program in empirical bioethics research. Up to six students will be selected to participate across three Mayo Clinic sites.
The Summer Undergraduate Program in Biomedical Ethics Research provides students with an unparalleled research experience to prepare them for careers in healthcare, science, law, or bioethics.
Each student is placed with a faculty mentor to contribute to a particular ethics research project, lasting approximately 10 weeks, beginning in late May or early June. In addition to conducting mentored research, students also participate in a robust ethics education curriculum and have opportunities to shadow in various areas of the clinic.
