Regional Director of Bioethics New Jersey Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a qualified candidate for Regional Director in our South Region Hackensack Meridian Health invites applications for a position as Regional Director of Bioethics for the South Region. This leadership position is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Bioethics program. The qualified candidate possesses a terminal degree in a related field and has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in bioethics. The Regional Director of Bioethics will be responsible for developing and implementing bioethics programs within their region of the Hackensack Meridian Health Network, including consultation and education, and contribute to the success of the mission of the growing HMH Bioethics program to create an environment where all clinical, administrative academic, and research activities reflect HMH’s values of quality, integrity, professionalism, teamwork, and communication. Faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine will be considered for qualified candidates. Opportunity Information
- Report to the HMH VP, Bioethics.
- Lead bioethics consultation services at institutions within the region to address ethical dilemmas that arise in the care of specific patients.
- Collaborate to develop and implement policies to address systems, organizational, and research ethics issues, educational programs for team members, students, trainees and volunteers, quality initiatives that assess and improve bioethics consultation.
- Engage with collaborations across HMH and with Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
- Engage in bioethics scholarship.
