The Ethics Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor in research ethics to meet growing needs within its Research Foundation. Cincinnati Children’s has active, ongoing research in many areas, including genetics and genomics, and is making investments in additional areas including mental health, neurosciences, biomedical informatics including artificial intelligence, organoids, cellular therapies, and the developmental origins of disease.
This faculty member will be expected to engage in collaborative and independent research, teaching, and service related to research ethics. The faculty member’s research is expected to be internally and externally funded. The faculty member’s academic appointment will be in a relevant Department or Division with salary support and time commitment to the Ethics Center.
Candidates are expected to have a terminal degree, MD, PhD, and/or JD, related to bioethics. Candidates with postdoctoral training are encouraged to apply
