This exciting position will be based within the Ethox Centre, an internationally recognised multidisciplinary bioethics research centre and a vibrant and intellectually exciting place to work. As a Senior Researcher you will lead the development of a major new programme of bioethics research (this could be in one of the Ethox Centre’s current priority research areas, or have a completely new but complementary focus). You will play a key role in the strategic leadership of the group, generate significant research income and initiate, develop and maintain effective research partnerships within the department, University and beyond.

Ethox is hosted by Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health), which contains world renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. In addition to Oxford Population Health, the Old Road Campus is home to the Pandemic Sciences Institute, Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics, the Big Data Institute, and it is the hub for Oxford’s major research programmes in global health.

To be considered you will hold a relevant PhD with significant research experience, an outstanding internationally recognised reputation for innovative research in bioethics, an excellent publication record and experience of leading research projects and staff.

The position is full time (part time considered) and fixed-term for 3 years. The closing date for application is 12.00 noon on 16th September 2022.
