Essential Qualifications
The individual must be able to work the hours specified. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
Doctorate (PHD) in Theology, Healthcare Ethics or related field. or
Master's in Theology, Healthcare Ethics or related field and advanced clinical practice experience.
4-6 years experience in the field of Catholic healthcare ethics.
4-6 years experience working with senior level management groups, mission and ethics leaders, and clinicians.
Demonstrable knowledge of the Catholic theological tradition and contemporary trends in healthcare and health policy as well as a deep understanding of the Catholic Church, the Catholic moral tradition, Catholic social teaching, and the Ethical and Religious Directives of Catholic Health Care Services, 6th edition.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
Demonstrable experience in bringing ethics analysis to bear across a health system, e.g., peer review, IRBs, quality committees, risk and compliance committees, etc. Experience in an integrated delivery system within a rural context.
Peer-reviewed publications in health care ethics.
