The Advocate Aurora Health Ethics Team is offering an ethics internship in Summer 2022. This is a remote position and will include virtual experiences and exposure to ethical issues in clinical, organizational, and social ethics with sites across Illinois and Wisconsin.
Intern Duty: work with the Ethics Leadership Team, Clinical Ethicists, Ethics Fellows and ethics committees to contribute to initiatives in ethics education, policy, and consultation and to complete an ethics project.
Intern Goal: gain the knowledge and experience necessary for discerning a professional career in health care ethics within a health care organization.
Schedule: 20 hours/week for 10-12 weeks starting in June. This internship is accompanied by a $5,000 scholarship offered with gratitude from the Aurora Foundation.
Requirements: Intern must hold a bachelor’s degree and have completed some coursework in ethics. Those entering or currently enrolled in a graduate degree program are expected to be
studying ethics.
