Clinical Assistant / Associate Professor

The Position
The Department of Public Health in the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) seeks applicants with expertise in public health or a closely related field for a new clinical faculty position at the clinical assistant or clinical associate professor level. This will be a 12-month, fiscal year appointment, with primary responsibilities for directing experiential learning opportunities (including practicum and capstone) for our residential MPH students as well as working in partnership with our excellent experiential learning faculty, lecturers, and staff in our undergraduate and online degree programs. Additional responsibilities will include teaching, mentorship, and/or engagement that complement and/or strengthen active areas of teaching and engagement activity in the department (https://hhs.purdue.edu/research/departmental-research/department-of-public-health-research/), as well as support the college’s signature areas including Developmental Health and Wellness, Healthy Lifestyles and Vital Longevity, and Sustainable and Thriving Communities and Organizations. Requirements
Applicants must hold a doctorate in public health or a closely related field. Applicants at the clinical associate level should also have demonstrated success in facilitating experiential learning opportunities in public health practice and in mentoring students.
