Clinical Ethicist – hybrid, will work on site some time each week at locations around Santa Rosa.

The Clinical Ethicist provides support to the Senior Director of Ethics or leadership of the Theology & Ethics department in the provision of ethics services in a PSJH market to advance the theological and ethical dimensions of the PSJH health care ministry consistent with the PSJH Mission and Values and the Theology and Ethics statement of Vision: “We animate and energize the moral identity of PSJH as a ministry of the Catholic Church at the service of all, empowering caregivers and leaders in developing personal and professional capacities for ethical decision making in alignment with the Mission and Values of PSJH. We nurture conditions where individuals and the organization can act with integrity and justice in identifying and responding to emerging ethical and social issues.”

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Bioethics, Moral Philosophy, Moral Theology, or clinical concentration with significant coursework in Bioethics, Moral Philosophy, or Moral Theology.
6 years of supervised clinical ethics experience in a Catholic health care setting or other faith-based health care setting.
3 years of experience in a health care setting.
Preferred qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Bioethics, Moral Philosophy, Moral Theology, or clinical concentration with significant coursework in Bioethics, Moral Philosophy, or Moral Theology.
